After much discussion and debate, we are regretfully postponing this event. The imminent weather (rain / freezing rain) will make for a poor afternoon of racing to say the least. We’d like to make the most of our last weekend allowed on the lake and hopefully better weather will draw more participants. This will also give several cars the opportunity for needed service. A future date will be announced as soon as possible in February. (Next weekend is a local fishing event that we are not allowed to disturb.)
Sorry for the late notice, but we were hoping for as long as possible that this would still work. Please continue to watch the website and forum for information on event dates.

Event Results have been posted from our second Ice Rally-X Points Events held January 16th and January 17th in West Salem, WI.
We had a slightly better turn-out and almost ideal ice and weather conditions! There was, again, some very close competition in the studded tire class. Sunday’s results had the top three drivers within 0.19 seconds! With three different cars! On ice!

Event Results have been posted from our first Ice Rally-X Points Events held January 9th and January 10th in West Salem, WI.
We did not have a large turn-out, but those who made the trip were treated to an excellent course and generally pleasant weather. (Especially compared to the past couple years…) There was some very close competition both days in the studded tire class. Congratulations to Jeremy, Trevor, Dan, and Dale for running quick times and some extremely consistent times as well. Tough to do on ice for over 90 seconds!

HERE WE GO! The 2010 Ice Rally Cross season is about to start. So far we have been fortunate with cold weather and limited snow cover. Ideal conditions for racing on lake ice. We have sanction applications for the next 3 weekends in January, starting THIS WEEKEND January 9th & 10th.

This event is held to socialize and present awards to members who have earned points or special honors from the competitive events sanctioned by SCCLAC from October 2008 to October 2009. Also, at this event, members will vote for officers of the club. It is open to all members and guests. We should also have a larger screen this year to display Brad’s terrific action photos and jog your bench-racing memories. Last year was excellent and we hope to see as many people again.
