I guess it’s no surprise that the unseasonably warm weather we’ve been having has not been ideal for freezing our lake… The ice is smooth, but it is not thick enough (5-6 inches). We were hoping our first event would be January 15th, but that event has been officially canceled.
Watch here and the forum section for updates as ice conditions improve. Safe ice and weather permitting, our first event will hopefully be January 22nd.
2012 Studded Tire Rules have been approved and posted! The club is hoping for cold weather and smooth ice so we can hold up to 5 events this year (4 Sundays, 1 Saturday). Watch here for information on event dates beginning in January. See you on the ice!
